Milton Welt

A graduate of the Keith Parris School of Art in Portland, Maine, Milton Welt has broad experience in painting. His primary medium is watercolor, but he also works in oils, acrylics, and pen and ink. He has worked with a number of well-known watercolorists, including Carlton Plummer, Betty Lou Schlemm and Claude Croney.
Since the early 1950's, Milton has been painting his impressions of Cape Cod and the Islands. His work is sought out by many private collectors and hangs in homes and offices throughout the country. His interest in Cape Cod out-of-doors, it's harbors and lighthouses, it's marshes and dunes, and it's unique architecture, is reflected in his paintings.
